The Aqara hub M2 doesn't support the multicast network protocol implemented in xiaomi_aqara.

Please use the homekit_controller to integrate the device

or

use a modified firmware: https://github.com/niceboygithub/AqaraGateway

for ios user - homekit controller integration

1. First install the Aqara iOS App and register the M2 Hub, this should add to HomeKit. Then add all accessories.
2. After that remove the M2 from Apple Home app’s HomeKit. Don’t use the 10 second reset button to do this.
3. Got to HA and install the HomeKit-Controller via [http://192.168.1.1:8123/_my_redirect/config_flow_start?domain=homekit_controller ](http://192.168.1.1:8123/_my_redirect/config_flow_start?domain=homekit_controller) It will find the M2 and its accessories and add to HA.
4. Your iOS app should still have it loaded

I just got my M2 hub today and I can’t figure out how to get it paired via HomeKit Controller. Here are the steps I’m performing:

Reset the M2 hub (hold down button for 10 seconds until flashing yellow light).

Open Home app on iPhone > + button > Add Accessory

Scan the code on the M2 hub.

Add to Home (assign to room, etc.)

Go to the bridge settings in Home and click “Remove Bridge from Home”

Go to my Home Assistant integrations page.

Click Add Integration > HomeKit Controller

I immediately get the message “Aborted. No unpaired devices could be found.”
